Sometime ago I remember a posting on changing the payload config setup of the BBJ due to the increased range/fuel capacity from the standard 737. Does anyone remember that or point me in the right direction? Thanks Richard Churchill

Hi Richardthis is my cfg four the PMDG737-700-Wingletmake a backup of the original aircraft.cfg file prior editing! NOTE! The followingmodifications will effect the behaviour of all PMDG737-700-Winglet aircraft you haveinstalled, unless you create a new folder for the BBJ in your FS9/Aircraft directory.1. First we will replace the standard engines of the B737-700 by some stronger ones: Find the [TurbineEngineData] part in your aircraft.cfg file. You have to change the static_thrust=... Following engines are available: CFM56-7B24 with 107.6kN static_thrust=24200 default B737-700 CFM56-7B26 with 117.0kN static_thrust=26300 for BBJ CFM56-7B27 with 121.4kN static_thrust_27300 in real life used for the 737-900 versions and the BBJ2 The line in the middle will do nicely for a BBJ and is the most realistic, as such engines are used for B737-800 and BBJ in real life. If you choose the last line, be aware that your BBJ will be little overpowered.2. Now build a much larger fuel tank in the cargo compartement. Find the [fuel] section in your aircraft.cfg file and change it as follows: Center1= -44.870, 0.000, -2.800, 8119.000, 0.000 That will give you a maximum fuel capacity of 40.484 litres (10.695 US gal., 8.905 Imp gal.) instead of the standard 26.025 litres (6.875 US gal., 5.725 Imp gal.) of the B737-700. This features exactly the real life BBJ which can be fitted with up to nine additional belly tanks. It will allow you a flight of up to 6.200 NM range. As these additional fuel is stored in the cargo compartement, watch out that you
