747 Queen 1.2 update questions

Recommended Posts

First of all, thanks to the PMDG development team for the fantastic update to their 747. It's better than ever and much more polished.Just a couple of questions with my FS9 747:1. Was the nav data (AIRAC and Terminal Proceedures) updated or changed and what cycle was used?2. I'd read awhile back in an earlier post here that the FSX wing flex model was going to be applied to the FS9 747 in this update. Was that addition dropped or doesn't it work within FS9? I still have the three wing segment bends in flight after the update.Kim

Kim,1. No, it wasn't.2. Not sure where you heard that, FSX does wingflex in a completely different way than FS9 and it's not possible to do it in FS9.

Tabs,Thanks for the reply. I checked and noticed that the AIRAC cycle number is now 0802 in my FMCWP folder. That had to be changed with the update since I had an older rev number before. I gather that I'm going to need to update my SIDSTARS as well to make the FMC happy. As for the newer wing flex modeling, well, I'll just have to update to FSX and the 747X someday to get that feature, although I'll need a new computer for that one.Kim
