747 VS 1.2 Ground Question

Recommended Posts

I know this topic has probably been discussed over and over again but I can't seem to find any answers using the search function.Anyway how do you connect ground power with update 1.2?I know before it was an option on the drop down menu, but with the new update this option dissapeared. So far Ive been using APU power thoughout pre flight. Thanks in advance.

Kevin:It is my understanding that ground power is now assured- no matter where. Waiting up to 2 minutes may be required- but try that. I have not yet flown to a location without it.As far as start-up, I trust you are begining with the default Cessna, and then choosing your PMDG aeroplane?Best-Carl F. Yes sir, I always start up with the Cessna ready to rumble at KSEA.I get a little trigger happy with the APU so do you think that could have something to do with it???

You dont need to select the ground power option anymore, if you cant wait for the simulated ground connection just go into options/various click ok, and EXT 1/EXT2 will be availableRob
