Good video. It would be funny if at one point when the captain was telling the first officer details about the takeoff, the FO said "Whatever..." and "I guess". :-lol

It's from an ITVV DVD that I've got - very informative. I'd definitely recommend 744 drivers buying it. I also have one on the 737-400, which is very good. Go to the following website if you're interested: http://www.itvv.com/

More curious by far is the utter barbarity of the 200's steam gauges...!

Either ITVV posted it on YouTube themselves or you're right, it's copyright infringement. If the latter, they're doing ITVV a favour if you ask me. My appetite is now seriously whetted and I really want that DVD!Colin

That Virgin dvd is the most informative dvd, I highly recommend purchasing it. Plus the Captain is a really nice guy, I believe he used to lurk here and every once in a while he would post

I am a little puzzled...Acc to conventional OR RVSM rules WESTBOUND altitudes are either FL310 or FL350 OR FL300/320/340/360 etcbut he REQUESTED FL 330 and was assigned this FL - or did I misunderstand something?Karl-Heinz - EDDI/THF " Tempelhof "" The mother of all airports " - Sir Norman Fosterhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/747400.jpg

You won't regret it, I have all of the 'flightdeck' series. ITVV productions are just the best out and their customer service is pretty good too. I ordered a DVD from them recently and it took mere days to get down here to NZ from the UK, not bad!The 744 one is one of the best but also their MD-11 presentation should be mandatory viewing for anyone considering the forthcoming PMDG release, very detailed and nicely presented by the crew.
