How to know if FS9 747 Update took?

I finally got around to installing the 1.20 update for the 747 in FS9, but since most or all the changes listed are logic enhancements, how can I figure if the install did it's job. I'm sure it did, but where are we able to enter the fuel we want directly? I thought this was for the load manager, but is it only for the options menu? If so, then I do think that looked different (missing arrows?). Also, did the 1.12 update need to be installed for this to work? I don't remember having a 1.12 update???Thanks!ETA: I see the original announcement states the 1.12 update is part of the 1.20, so I think that answered my second question.

While in FS9, in the PMDG options menu, select fuel. If you can manually type in the quanity numbers (not have to use the up/down arrow) then you're updated.
