PMDG 747-400 Problems

Recommended Posts

HeyI recently purchased the PMDG 747-400 and installed it, and i beleive everything is up to date. But I have a slight problem with it, that i can't seem to get around. In the standard cockpit view and in VC, not all of my buttons and switches/knobs work. I have tried many different resolutions (I got told 1280x960 is best) but nothing seems to work. For example for the altitude knob for autopilot I cant make it scroll up, it will only scroll down no matter where i click on the knob, Same with Heading, The Speed knob doesn't even move up or down so I can't adjust that. Also my panel has a wierd glow during the day or shadows? That it would have if the panel was lit up during the night, but the panel lights arent on, and ive tried pressing L numerous times to turn the lights on and off but to no avail. I've tried re-installing and hasnt worked, tried using different engine variants of the 747. Has anyone encountered problems like this before :(?

Hey, please sign with your name in this forum.Did you read the intro chapter in the manual, and note how to use right and left mouse buttons on the panels?Lighting is controlled by the light switches, I'm not sure what the default L key command does in the PMDG (never tried).

With the default planes the L key will turn on every light. I think it just turns on the exterior lights on the PMDG 744.
