Using PMDG and CH Throttle Quadrant

Hello dear PMDG. I have a question to you about using one of the levar of CH Throttle as a spoiler. I can move spoiler but I can't arm it with this levar. Is there any possibility of calibration to make arming of spoiler with CH Throttle ?Best regardsP.S.Will PMDG MD-11 works fine with CH products? ;)

Purchase FSUIPC and use that for the axis calibration and control. Works wonders.Would say CH products are fine though. I had the complete set and they barely lasted a year before wearing out. I have moved over to Saitek now and they have a much better feel and build. Use FSUIPC to control all axises and FS does not get to see the axis at all. I concur, only adding that it is important to DISABLE the joysticks in FS9- that way FSUIPC controls the whole thing.My CH TQ has worn out after a little over a year as well- so food for thought.Best-Carl F. Yes, you can set differrent detents in the axis for different functions- enabling arming. As mentioned you need to program the detent for it in FSUIPC. I have the first detent set so that it arms in the first part and the rest of the stroke it deploys the speed brake further the further the lever is pulled.John Veldthuishttp://www.virtualpilots.org/signatures/vpa475.png

I wasn't askong about calibration of all CH Throttle, but just for spoiler (here I can read about calibration of engines, mixture etc.) Should I mark "Spoiler Arm On" or just "Spoiler Arm set" etc.? I'm calibrating it but green light don't want to turn on.Marek Romanowski

Marek:You can select the axis you want (just like the throttle) and then set the correct detents so you can arm, flight raise or fully deploy as you wish.Choose axis assignment and then calibration in the separate tabs- make sure your joysticks are DISABLED in FS!Best-Carl F. I already assigned the spoiler and Arm mode works in all aircrafts except Boeing 737NG From PMDG
