white borders on MCDU keys

Can anyone explain why the keys E N S & W on the MCDU have a white border around them when the other keys don't?Andrew

I don't know for sure , but I can guess that this is because these keys are used when inputing Latitude and Longitude into the MCDU (N51000.0/W02000.0 etc).Pete Carlsen
