B747-400 Can't maintain mach

Recommended Posts

Hello Fellow Simmers,I having issues once I get to altitude I can't keep my mach speed it starts to drop. So if I plan .85 it will keep that for a few minutes and then drop off to .70 and it won't pick back up again. This also go's for when I climb to a different flight level same issue. I'm using FSX with ASX and vista 32 any help would be be appreciated oh also I have SP2a installed for the 747.Brett Wells

Not knowing the altitude, optimum altitude, maximum altitude and TAT makes it hard to assist. In the above example, was the climb at 0.85M as well, and it climbed on target speed but just didn't maintain speed level? So many questions.

Hi Dan,I started the climb at 340kts and then it switched over to .85 once at altitude FL350 it wouldn't keep .85 the speed would go down to .70 and stay . Outside temp was a -19c opt alt was 318 and max was 358.Brett Wells
