747FSX: Unable to save options

Recommended Posts

I have just installed the DVD version of the 747FSX and find that I am unable to save any of the options, e.g., LCD displays, IRS align time, etc. Each time I make a selection and click OK, but when I check back, the options have reverted to what they were earlier. Has anyone else experienced this or am I missing something? Thanks!Rushad

Vista users need to assign admin rights to the pmdg folder and subfolders. Hope this helps.

Dan,Many thanks for the tip! It took a little bit of fiddling around but I finally got it to work. Now if I can only figure out a way to avoid getting the OOM error (using Vista 32 and 4GB) so I can fly the plane for longer than 10 - 15 minutes ......Rushad

Good guess on my part. As for OOM with Vista32 and 4Gb there is a thread running on this topic... look down a page or so and you will find it with currently more than 185 posts. There are several options, take a look.
