MD 11: "Data" button on EIS without function?

Hello,this might be a rather stupid question, but after pressing the data button on the EIS panel in MAP mode no additional data is displayed on the ND. Is this normal?

Shows waypoint data (e.g. altitude constraints, crosstrack deviation and identifier).
