Just 3 more Questions...

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,I hate to be a bother... but I have just a few more PIC questions.1) I've read here that the included "emergency" adventures will not work with FS2K2. However, a few posts state that they DO work under certain circumstances. So what is the general concensus? Do the adventures work or not?2) If the adventures DON'T work - Is it safe to delete the PILOT folder, the ADVOTHER folder, and all the 767 sound files in the ADVWAV folder. If the adventures really don't work, I'm surprised that the patch doesn't delete this stuff automatically - it takes up a pretty good bit of room.3) Thanks to Lee, I'm using the POSKY aircraft models - so I really don't need the default aircraft models anymore. However, (for some odd reason) the aircraft textures are NOT stored in the "767 PIC Wilco Publishing" aircraft container texture folder. Are they in the main FS2002Texture folder? If so, Why???... And how are they named - I want to get rid of them!I know these are relatively minor issues - but I'm a "hard-drive ######" and hate to waste space on useless files. Any "insight" will be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Marc

The default model textures are in FS2002scenery767 Pilot in Command. Make sure you remove or, better yet, disable them in the scenery first. If you really want to remove them, it would probably be better to zip them up and keep them safe should you want to restore them. The same goes for the FS2002aircraft767 PIC Wilco Publishing. You might have some problem and want to make sure the POSKY model is not responsible.I have the default Wilco models disabled by doing two things:[ol][li] In aircraft767 PIC Wilco Publishing I renamed aircraft.cfg to xaircraft.cfg. This keeps those models from showing up the aircraf selection menus.[li] In the scenery setup I have disabled the Wilco 767 scenery.[/ol]Lee Hetherington (KBOS)
