FX Initiation & Overspeed Alarms

Recommended Posts

Guest Heather 636

I have seen in the CFG file where certain FX are triggered by water landings, dirt, concrete, and light settings. Is there anyway to trigger an FX where it will only work when the engine is running? Also, i have seen in the past, a post that brought up how to change the ovrspeed alarm parameters. Could someone tell me how to do that please? Thanks!Heather

Hi Heather I don't know about the FX files but you can change the overspeed alarm parameters by using AirEd there are two setting you have to change the first is the Mach value (section 316) and the secound is the overspeed warning in knots (section 1101).samurai

FX Files are one of these things that we still don't know too much about. All I know is that they are controlled by GMax, if I can find out anything out, I'll let you know.
