Gear Retraction During Instant Replays!

Recommended Posts

Guest

I have recently started using PIC in FS2002 and the other day, observed a strange phenomenon whilst watching a "spot-view" replay of my landing. The undercarriage started off in the down position but immediately retracted once the replay started. The replay showed the aircraft landing normaly (apart from the lack of wheels).Thinking this to be a one off, I tried several more times but the same thing kept happening (in all views). Has anyone else experienced this? Can I do anything to sort this out?

I believe this is a FS2002 bug. I've seen it with default aircraft and add-on aircraft.I can confirm it does not happen with the DF Piper Archer (non-retractable landing gear) ;-)Lee Hetherington (KBOS)

I get that occasionally, adjust the length of your replay (shorter), that will help...the replay remembers key presses as well as control inputs so as to animate correctly....sometimes it gets confused. If I do a 30-60 second replay after I have touched down, I have no problems ever.Rob.
