Hi allThis question has come up on numerous occasions and to be fair I even questioned whether Microsoft would release one. In short the answer is NO but do read onShould you prefer to read the source.http://zone.msn.com/flightsim/FS02Readback12.aspReadback: What the Flight Simulator Pilots Are Asking Flight Simulator 2002 Update? We've seen a lot of speculation in the Flight Simulator forums and newsgroups about a "patch" or update for Flight Simulator 2002. The short answer to all the questions is that we have no plans to issue an update for FS2002. We can issue updates only to address major issues that affect installation and operation of the program. Feature enhancements (e.g., changes to the ATC system, scenery, weather, and aircraft) involve complex, often interdependent code changes that require extensive planning, development, and testing, and they are feasible only during development of a new version. We are aware of comments and wish lists reported by users. In fact, we're never completely satisfied with any given version of Flight Simulator--we always want to add more functions and tweak existing features. But as a practical matter, at some point, just like manufacturers of real airplanes, cars, and other products, we have stop working on the current version and undertake the major development work for the next release. For example, enhancements to ATC are high on our list for future versions, as are major improvements to other important areas of Flight Simulator. Over more than 20 years of publishing Flight Simulator, we've demonstrated that commitment by adding aircraft, detailed new scenery areas, airports, graphical improvements, and such key features as real-world weather, ATC, auto-gen scenery, and virtual cockpits, and we'll continue to improve and expand Flight Simulator with each new version. In the meantime, we'll continue to monitor forums, newsgroups, and product support calls and we'll address as many issues as possible in future releases. We'll also continue to publish new information about Flight Simulator 2002 here in the Flight Simulator Insider. FLY SAFELYwings737
