Hey Lou,We just have a ton of things to deal with now, including some personal issues I may add. I thank you for your support and kind wishes, and maybe one day, after this is all over, we will be back doing what we love to do.Thanks again Lou :-).Al Lynch Jr. - Member FSWorldonline.comhttp://www.fsworldonline.com/~imgsrv/MySignature1.jpg

[http://www.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3cc5d15671f44040.jpg] I agree completely Mike. Why shouldn't someone be compensated for their efforts? I'm sure that it takes hundreds or thousands of hours to learn a modeling software, research an aircraft, obtain all the relevant data and drawings for it, model it, flight test it, flight test it, flight test it, paint it in god knows how many different paint schemes to satisfy the desires of every single simmer on the planet, (breathe), release it to the general public at the expense of the webpage operator who's paying cash out of his own pocket to pay for the bandwidth, support it via forums and the like, have it stolen, modified, or otherwise molested in spite of the fact that the readme says not to, (breathe again) spending countless hours responding to e-mails about "how do I" when it says so in the readme, spending even more time reading e-mails from people that tell you how bad your work sucks, and flight testing again.I mean that's what it takes to model an aircraft in FS and share it for free with everyone, right?Just imagine geting paid for it....BTW thanks for the best free Beech 1900D in G-max for FS2002, nothing beats it!CF-AOA

IMHO, regardless if it's freeware or payware, expect criticism or complaints as it comes with the terrority. So don't expect to please 100% of people that have downloaded the software to be happy. As well as what Mike and csmz were expounding about as internal struggles could play an issue. I know that very well as I am doing a F-14D and with the amount of time and money invested...it's no cakewalk!Everyone has their opinions or views on how they would like software seen/replicated and it's their right to voice no matter how distasteful it can be. But I beleive can tact could be useful here in which it relates to constructive criticism. There are others that are just content on the current state of the software while there are others that would like things corrected or implemented. I don't think you can purely call one a "basher" just because he/she criticizes the product. Payware developers deal with this everyday. It is up to the developer regardless of payware to endure the criticisms. In the end, it is still a compliment to the developer that one downloads the software to try it out because of interest. I wouldn't be hasteful to judge people by saying they aren't appreciative of freeware. jd

What a great shame!! I downloaded the base pack but didn't download the Virgin Atlantic livery at the same time. What happens? I try to get on the website for days and it's gone!! For whatever the reasons it is a sad day for us all.I would be eternally grateful if someone could email me the Virgin Atlantic livery pack or tell me where I can get it.

Guys, your really not getting the picture here, please remove the files from the server, as we did not upload them there, and ask kindly that you remove them. Those files contain material that is not to be relased, and we cannot settle and reopen if you guys keep reposting files. We will not be held responsible for redistributuion.Al Lynch Jr. - Member FSWorldonline.comhttp://www.fsworldonline.com/~imgsrv/MySignature1.jpg

The short answer--Simubuild retains the copyright to those files, regardless of what's stated in the license agreement. If a copyright owner tells me to "cease and desist", I certainly would. Litigation has resulted from far more frivolous things.... -John
