No, it didn't work.I am using Excel 97 and the options under "data" are all greyed out. Does this mean I cannot import external data?>Damon - >>Two possible reasons: >1. A few of us have a problem with the Excel 97 program opening. Has this issue been resolved and I just missed it or are we out of luck?

Hi guys,First Damon - This is strange indeed. However, you have the data options greyed because of sheet protection. try to change the options when on the flightplan page, it is not protected. By the way maybe you should try to remove protection from all pages, it might be causing a problem (go to tools menu - protection - remove sheet protection).Again, verify that you filled a departure and arrival airport on the dep and arr pages, where the wx info should appear. Now for Lamont - I think you said earlier that you have a missing VB file - no progress in this direction? I still don't know exactly what is malfunctioning and what functions correctly. can you please specify more? Thanks guys,Ilan

Still no go.I assure you that I have entered correct dep and arrival airports on the proper pages. Also, I unprotected the entire sheet. I was able to get to the "external data" options by going to the flight plan page but I don't know which option to select ("run external query" brings up a list of query files related to financial transactions or something like that).I am certain that the weather that is autofilling on both dep and arr pages is the current weather for llbg and eham...no other weather will fill in those boxes.Damon

Hi Damon,I managed to check the sheet on excel 97 today, and saw the problem with the WX autofill. I will try and fix this issue soon, and let you know.BTW, anyone else with excel 97 having this trouble? I am not sure if it always happens or only in some cases. Your input will help a lot.Bye,Ilan

Hi Damon,My Excel format is also 97. I too am having this problem with NO WX autofill.I hope this is not a stupid request, but the font you use for the final dispatch looks like an early dot matrix printer. Can you use a different font or make this one in a dark bold for easier reading. I think the dispatch is a great addon for all of us PIC users.Bob Johnson

Hi bob,the font is intentional, to make it look realistic... in fact some people asked for a "worse" font to make it even more realistic. You can however change it as you like: Select the dispatch sheet area with your mouse and then select a font of your choice. thats all!Ilan

i love the font. It's also very good for 'draft' mode printing to save PRECIOUS inkt... i go downstairs to flightprep these days, printer is most economic and prints the sheets VERY wellCheers
