January 5, 200323 yr I have some questions about Pilot in command. (Thinking about buying it)Does it support Virtual cockpit in fs2002?Can the main cockpit guages be undocked and dragged to another monitor/s?How bad is the frame rate hit?Are there any passenger views? Can you hear the apu?I know there are hundreds of switches, but how many of them are actually required to get right in order to fly the plane?(Many add-on aircraft let you flip switches but have no bearing on the airplane.)

January 5, 200323 yr Hi Steve,Always thought about getting a copy of a work like this, so here is my chance :-) .Would you mind sending me a copy of the dockables to [email protected] ?Appreciated!Happy New Year,Ilan
January 5, 200323 yr Hey Ilan, I have a multi monitor set package by Patric Moreau and Rainer Arensmann. They had second thoughts about releasing it after a chat with Wade, although Wade was NOT against the idea. I don't know how the heck I have it but I do! Here's a screen shot of the main bitmap. I have not had a chance to use it yet but it looks great. If you want a copy just email me.Best Wishes,Randy J. [email protected]" A little learning is a dangerous thing" Randy J Smith
January 6, 200323 yr That looks great - I'd like a copy too, however is there a second panel for glareshield controls?
January 6, 200323 yr >I have some questions about Pilot in command. (Thinking >about buying it) >>Does it support Virtual cockpit in fs2002? No. PIC was written for FS2000.>Can the main cockpit guages be undocked and dragged to >another monitor/s? I think some may have managed to do this, but certainly not officially a supported option.>How bad is the frame rate hit? PIC is pretty gentle on FPS. Comparable to other panels of similar complexity (i.e. DF737 or PSS Airbus) - perhaps a little better.>Are there any passenger views? No. Although I have added 3rd party wing views without problem.>Can you hear the apu? No. (this is by design)>I know there are hundreds of switches, but how many of them >are actually required to get right in order to fly the >plane?(Many add-on aircraft let you flip switches but have >no bearing on the airplane.) You will definitely need to make several passes through the manual (an excellent and easy-to-follow reading, I might add) before you charge into cockpit. There aren't many placebo gauges in PIC.Enjoy.J
