February 19, 200323 yr NOTAM:Drop your cocks and get in your socks...this is going to be a great night on VATSIM...landing a 767 at 13,000+ feet is a buzz, especially with the lack of oxygen. From the North/NE, shoot the VOR DME ILS-1 RWY-10 approach by hand, don't forget the MSA, it's a nice challenge, and you will be surprised how differently the aircraft handles at Vapp at 13,300ft....don't forget to depressurize and put the mask on before final approach. Some of you are probably concerned that it's a Thursday night and you gotta work the next day or whatever...you don't want to miss this one! So you will be a little sleepy on Friday...you can got to bed early on Friday, get up Saturday, practice up for the LGAV flight on Sunday! Your family must realise that you have needs too ;-)Rob. February 20, 200323 yr Looking over the charts, the ILS 2 with the DME Arc looks interesting, the one that takes you over the top of the mountains at FL220 before the descent.Mark
