August 11, 200223 yr I just read an artical in 'Computer Pilot Magazine' about mountain flying. In it, the author says he likes to do his mountain flying with FS2002 in the Pilatus Porter. I checked the file library here and could not find one. Anyone know where I can download it from? Thanks,
August 11, 200223 yr A pay version is supposed to be available soon from FSD.http://www.fsd-international.com/There was a version for FS2000 with a beta upgrade for 2002 but the files are not available for download any longer. That's the story as I know it.
August 11, 200223 yr Hi John, the author here! Thanks for reading it ;-)I am using the updated FS2000 Porter from FSD. Works fine in FS2002. But Joe is right, they are working on a whole new model for FS2002 that should be out sometime later this year. :-outta Francois :-wave

"At home in the wild"[link:avsim.com/alaska/alaska_051.htm|Don's Alaskan Bush Charters]"Beavers Lead the Way"[link:www.avsim.com/vfr_center/mainpages/vfr_flights_main_page.htm]VFR Flight Center]"Looking Good Outside"

http://avsim.com/hangar/air/bfu/logo70.gifhttp://www.fssupport.com/images/moose2.gif

________________________Francois A. August 11, 200223 yr Thanks for your replies,I guess I will have to be patient and wait for FSD to work their magic. I went to the FSD website and they have pictures of the new one they are working on, Looks great! It is a float plane. Can someone tell me if they are planning creating a wheeled version also? Thanks,
August 11, 200223 yr The FSD Porter will have retractable landing gear built into the floats. It will be worth the wait.
August 11, 200223 yr Phil, do you happen to know if the Seneca V is still going ahead? That preview's been on the site for ages!
August 11, 200223 yr Mark,To be honest, I haven't heard anything. I believe that the priority is the Porter for now. It may be best to post your question in FSD's forum. Although it is intended for support only, I feel that someone there could answer the question better.
August 14, 200223 yr We are working on finishing the GMax Seneca now, and it will likely be our next release. Can't give an estimate of a firm release date, but it's coming! :-beerchug [link:www.fsheartland.net]http://www.fsd-international.com/team/Heartland_sig.gif
