March 3, 200323 yr Hi all,(first question:)could somebody help me how to change the Engine Indigation of this amazing aircraft from N1 to EPR.Is it possible to do it by myself, and would that be legal or not? - because i have an AOM for B767-300ER with PW4060/PW4062 Engines, wich uses EPR as Thrust Indication.(and the second one:)i know there is a gauge wich allows you to undock the CRT displays but i can
March 3, 200323 yr Not possible.Lee Hetherington (KBED)http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg
March 3, 200323 yr There are some undockable gauges for PIC so do a search on the library under PIC 767. If Lee says that there is no way to change the N1 display I would believe him. He's been flying this bird for a long time and knows what can and can't be changed. I hope this is clear enough for you? Is it legal to try? Sure, knock yourself out.Best Wishes,Randy J. March 3, 200323 yr Commercial Member "Is it legal to try? Sure, knock yourself out"Hmm I am afraid that's a twilight zone you'd be entering.Sure try, just don't make it available to anyone and if you totally want to "keep out of harm's way" don't tell anyone about it :-)Regards,Mark Mark Foti Author of aviaworx - https://www.aviaworx.com
March 3, 200323 yr Ok ok it is clear enough, but i thought the PIC has usual (editable)gauges like every other panel. I thought only the A/P would be an exception.
March 3, 200323 yr None of the gauges are "editable." Most panels don't have editable gauges. You can edit their placement, but not how they work. They are generally written in C or C++ on the inside, and that source code is not publically available.Lee Hetherington (KBED)http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg
