Don't forget!I will do CYVR-KLAX at about 5:30pm EDT to get there with time for the departure.The in-flight movie will be Turdulence 2 and a half in 3D...starring DS and Leslie Neilson, with cameo's by Bill Van Caulert as the gay flight attendant and Ian Elchitz as the dedicated, yet disturbed controller.Should be fun.Rob.---------------PS - I have been fiddling about with sounds - mixed and matched some files...The engine drone from Bill's set - it a little loud, need to figure out how to mellow it a bit.The tail & wing scrape so you know for sure when you over-rotate by the screams of children in the back.The landing gear sound from Bill's set....give a bit of a thud and screach...although not realistic, it is better than the crash sound for gear contact.Reverser's from OBK (still undecided on that one, Bill's set has a nice reverser too, more mellow.)Start up is tweaked PIC v2 with drone blended in.Viento/air sound rush (classic)- Haroon sent me, I think it is from Rawi Whatshisname.The grind is a bit exaggerated but can be nulled out by reducing engine sounds. At altitude (low OA-temps), there is mostly wind noise and a very faint whistle.More playing about required.
