September 6, 200322 yr looking great lee!!so guys, i have a choice to make and would like your advisei'm 17 now, and becoming 18 in november, the earliest my dad allows me to start my ATPL course is in august next yeari just worked for a month so i have a 'small' amount of money, around 1100 euros(it's what's left after the loan i took from my father)A friend of mine is in texas for a year, so i could go and visit him, yet the fact remains that houston is quite a dull place expecially considering the fact my friend has to attend school during that time. The advantages would be flying on 5 flights including types like the A340, 320, B773, 735 and if i chose the right flight the 763.second option is to fly to egypt(sharm el sheik) and take diving lessons for a week to get my international diving license...third option is to spend it all on flying cessnas with friends here in belgium....what would you guys do?Greetz
September 6, 200322 yr Lenny,To tell you the truth, I'd borrow another 1100 Euro's from your father and do all three...Sounds great to me..Regards,jack noullet
September 7, 200322 yr Lenny Dont waste good money on "international certification" diving lessons, If you go to any PADI cert. class you can dive anywhere, Ive held an advanced open water cert for 20years from the US and have dove in the red sea and south china sea, you dont need no international certification. FLY man FLY!!! Or take sky diving lessons :)Brian
