November 19, 200421 yr Today, early afternoon, a dear friend and a devoted pilot and simmer lost his young life in a plane crash.Nimrod Gershuny was almost addicted to 767PIC, ever since it first day, and was very excited about the incoming LDS 767. He was a dear friend, always willing to help with his big smile and ever lasting patience.I felt I should write here in his memory, in the place he loved so much.I wish to pass my deepest condolences to Nimrod's family and to the families of the other two souls who lost their life in this accident.May god have mercy on their souls.Ilan

November 19, 200421 yr They were 3 on board a Piper Aztec inbound LLHZ - Nimrod (PPL), a senior instructor and (to my best knowledge) one trainee. They lost the right engine, tried an emergency landing but crashed at an open field. The plane was found with right engine closed and unfeathered, left engine at full power, and gear down. Some say they hit electricity lines, but it is all still under investigation.Vatil will really miss Nimrod, he was a real dedicated vatsim member and always fun to fly with online :-(I'm sure many of you heard him on vatsim.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/98007.jpg http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/98008.jpg
