December 1, 200421 yr OK...I've searched up and down and can't find anything so here goes:I seem to have lost most, but not all, VOR's in the FMC database. (Using 0412 from NavData)I'm currently on VATSIM, flying this route, KDFW-PANC:N0438350 LOWGN1 ROLLS J20 FQF J13 COUTS J516 YQL J510 YYC J485 YQU/N0442390 NCA10 YAK J501 JOH ELLAM2I'm about to cross HGO VOR. (KZDV) I can tune it manually, but as soon as I delete the manual tuning, the FMC will not retune HGO, or any other VOR in the area. In fact, even at 320NM range on the ND, I only see ALS and TBE at the moment. To reiterate, I can tune maually, and the idents are correct, but the FMC will not see or tune anything other than a very few VOR's of the good number that are available in this area. What in the hell did I screw up now ? Regards,Brian Doney

(Using 0412 from NavData)>>What in the hell did I screw up now ?>I don't know what you may have screwed up in hell }(Anyway ... to the point ...It sounds like one of your NavData files got messed up. Two things come to mind:(1) engage ALT HOLD, HDG HOLD, MACH HOLD and reload the route into FMC, on LEGS do GO TO your next waypoint, reengage VNAV and LNAVif that does not help(2) reinstall NavData and reload the route as in (1)I am not sure you can do the latter without reloading the panel. This is when AutoSave comes handy.Hope this helps (a little)
December 1, 200421 yr Author Adam,Thanks for the reply...it is a NavData issue.0411 works for me just fine, but I am having trouble with 0412.Can you, or anyone else, confirm 0412 is working for you ?Thanks again. Regards,Brian Doney
