Using Roger Wilco just for a/g monitoring

Featured Replies

Could anyone please tell me how to use Roger Wilco just for monitoring certain active ATC sectors etc., without running Flt Sim or Sqawk Box?How /where would I find out the IP addresses or other info required to type into RW and where/how do I enter it in RW.Many thanks.

If you use ServInfo 1.31, you can tune to a controller's RW frequency by selecting his name and pressing "Join."Hope this helps, and if it doesn't, just say what doesn't make sense and I'll be back! :-)-TR[email protected]

Hi, Thanks helping out. Sorry I am not aware of ServInfo 1.31 - could you please advise further what this is?I have just been looking on the VATSIM website under Who's On (and the ATC applet) to see what's active in the world, but I don't think it has the info required to jsut go ahead and tune in.http://data.satita.net/who_vatsim.htmlhttp://data.satita.net/atcapplet.html

You can download ServInfo 1.31 here: http://avsim.com/hangar/utils/servinfo/home.htmIt is a tool that shows you who is online, and where. It's a fantastic little program, and there is now a way to integrate it into your panels, so that while flying on VATSIM in FS2002, you won't have to leave the window or type ".atis callsign" to get to the next controller. You simply highlight the controller of choice and click "Tune." What I just told you is a separate bonus part of ServInfo, the main program is what you are really looking for. Here is a shot of what it looks like. I have details on San Francisco Intl. showing in this picture:http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3d632a9816b53110.jpgAgain, if any of this makes no sense, don't hesitate to say so! :-)-TRhttp://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3d632abb17e81d2c.gif[email protected]
