Squawkbox acting up

Recommended Posts

Guest Duncan MacDonald

Hi all,After having used SB and FS2002 on my laptop (Celeron 2.7 GHz running XP Home SP2) sucessfully for about a year, the following problem has just started to occur. As usual I start FS2002, create a Multiplayer session and start SB Host. I then Start SB as normal, and everything appears OK right up until I search for my multiplayer session. I use 127.0.0.1 and SB finds the session, but then seems to hang using around 95% of CPU resources (according to task manager). The only way of solving the problem is to end the SB Process in Task Manager.Has anyone any ideas as to why SB might be doing this? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling FS2002, SB and FSUIPC (latest version). Thanks in advance.Duncan

actually, that is the problem I'm having with FS2004...squawkbox attempts to join the session (I'm using SBRelay for the FS2002 SB session and the FS2004 session for FS), but after about 5 or 6 minutes of appearang a hanged application, I get an error message that it "Could not join the session" and then I have to cancel multiplayer and can get online using SB without Multi, but what is the fun in that?
