NATVAT? Just what we do not need!

Recommended Posts

Here we go again. Another upstart onlice service. What in the world could they possibly offer that VATSIM does not already provide? Other than diluting the FS online community even more, nothing. A big waste of time in my opinion. If we just had 1 orginization instead of now 3, there would be alot more pilots and controllers online and the experience by all would be that much more realistic. It's ridiculous having another orginization try to get into an already very slim market. Just my opinion.

This is by the same people that tried to start NVAS... why they think a new name is going to succeed where the other one didn't is beyond me.. they'll figure it out when no one joins it either.. :)Mike

Their page looks exactly like the vatsim.net page - hmm...Don't worry, VATSIM is the only network getting ASRC, and once controllers at least see the MUCH higher level of realism they can get on VATSIM, I don't think they're gonna go to a network still using Pro Controller... All the simclients developers etc. are with VATSIM, they won't be able to upgrade...RyanZAB C-1 /V

Yeah I noticed they had something like 200 or so members. Not a patch on Vatsim's 41,000 +It shouldn't be a comptetition, but if Natvat and IVAO joined together with Vatsim, I think the whole community would benifit by having more controllers online, more often and more traffic! exactly what we want isn't it!?!

Yea I also was very astonished when I saw the NATVAT website compared to the VATSIM one... Who the heck was the 'founder' of NATVAT, someone of VATSIM or what???

Who knows, maybe one day we can all 'merge.' But until that day, VATSIM is still #1. :-)Ryan-Flightpro08 :-coolVATSIM Pilot/ControllerZLA ARTCC Controller 1 (C-1)SAN TRACON Lead [link:www.taxiwaysigns.com]Taxiwaysigns.com Scenery Designer-----------------------------My "Home Made" System Specs:Intel Pentium 4 2.2GHz ProcessorTurbo Gamer ATX Mid-Tower with 420W Power SupplyEPoX 4G4A Motherboard with Intel 845G ChipsetVisiontek XTASY GeForce4 128MB Ti4600 (Det 30.30 Drivers)512MB PC2100 DDR RAM40GB Matrox 7200RPM Hard DriveWindows XP Home Edition*No CPU or GPU Overclocking*3dMark2001SE Score: 10346
