RW Server question

Recommended Posts

Guest

Hi all,I would like to know what is the correct way to enter the RW server name when we connect to Vatsim via SquawkBox. At first, I was using vitez.net/unicom, but after sometime, everytime I connected I received an error message from RW as (could not find vitez.net/unicom). I tried avsim.net/unicom, but the message persists. Any ideas? Thanks.

Help, VATSIM !! - I have the same problem (see message above)I can, however, connect to the RW server from the ServInfo page that lists the server used by each voice controller.Dave Hinson

I have a similar problem.Running winXP, RW installed, not a firewall problem.in SB RW is set to auto execute and channel change. When SB starts i will get the warning from RW 'can not connect/find unicom'.When i then select ATC listing in SB and pick an ATC RW does jump to the foreground but somehow it is not able to connect to any ATC...i'm not getting any warning about not being able to connect except when it can't connect to unicom when first started. When in FS2k2 and i select 'tune' from the servinfo gauge, RW will jump to front but will not connect to anything either. When i'm in servinfo itself though and select any ATC and press join RW jumps to the front and connects to the right ATC without a prolem.I'm baffled.Something must be going wrong when passing the IPs to RW or something.
