In VatSim flight planning, is there any SIMPLE way to find out what the active runways are for takeoff from the departure airport, and landing at the destination airport at the time of planning origination? (I realize this is subject to change, particularly at the destination). Thanks:RTH

If it's a short flight and you have charts for the destination you can check the metar for winds if there's no atc there. If there's atc on at your destination (assuming you check on servinfo if its out of range) you can pvt them and ask.Don't forget many places will have SOP's regarding noise abatement, no-wind etc and this may mean rw's slightly different than you might think. If it's a long flight chances are the conditions on arrival will be different than when you departed so set up for the default and get updated by ATC when you get closer.Blayne M.
