CSL problems...please help

Recommended Posts

Hello fellow simmers,Can someone tell me what exactly I have to do to see other online a/c in their own texture instead of my own or the default CSL texture?Have read numerous threads on this topic and tried every tip I've found but still having problem. I have copied the CSL library to my C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9Aircraft directory and the CSL_ICAO.csv file to my C:Program FilesSquawkBox directory. Then I have this section in my FS0.CFG file. Have I missed anything?[[FrameCallNoWarn]]~van=1A320=1A340=1AT72=1B1=1B206=1B52=1B707=1B727=1B737=1B744=1B767=1BA46=1BE10=1BE18=1BE35=1BE55=1C130=1C152=1C172=1C182=1C188=1C5=1CAR=1CONC=1CSL=1D8100run=1DC10=1DC3=1DC4=1DC9=1DH8B=1DHC2=1DHC6=1F14=1F4=1F5=1ffg7=1FORD_POS=1G21=1J3=1LJ45=1M113=1Master CSL=1OHP=1P28A=1P28R=1P32R=1P51=1Pa28r180=1SAIL=1SF34=1SH33=1ST75=1STS=1T37=1TOBA=1TUG=1Tug1=1TWR=1U2=1UH1=1UH1D=1UH60=1ULT=1VAN=1XSR=1~a340=0Also wondering what CSL library is the best/most spread to use, because I understood that everyone should use the same CSL library for the best results? Then I found the following lines in my FS9.CFG file, what do they do and is it correct that they all have the value of '0' or should I change them to '1' instead to allow sending/receiving models/textures - could that be the problem? Tried changing them to '1' but didn't notice any difference...ALLOW_PLANE_MODEL_SEND=0ALLOW_PLANE_MODEL_RECEIVE=0ALLOW_TEXTURE_SEND=0ALLOW_TEXTURE_RECEIVE=0Please give me a hint what to do.TIA,

Try looking at your settings for traffic. In FS, go to settings in the taskbar and then to traffic, and look at what you have (or dont have) selected.Allan BurekAircraft Maintenance Technician-jetBlue Airwaysnyi103@aol.com

Hello Allan,Actually I've noticed that some planes actually are in their real liveries now but far from all, guess that's due to what CSL library they/I use. When it comes to my traffic settings in FS, I noticed when looking now that I only have airline traffic checked and not general aviation - maybe that could also affect this? Will try checking general aviation as well and see if it makes any difference.Cheers,
