CH yoke and XP

I have just installed Windows XP and cannot get my CH Flight Sim Yoke LE to work. Do I need new drivers and does anyone know where I can get them? Many thanks.John

Hi John,is it a USB or a Gameport version. If it is a USB version you should not need any drivers at all. Window3s should recognioze them by itself. Give me a little more information about what you di and I try to help.Alex

It is a CH Flight Sim yoke LE, USB port. It is listed in the game controllers and also FS2002. It even has contols assigned to it. I remember reading somewhere that it might need new drivers for XP. Any help is appreciated.ThanksJohn

I don't think so. Mine although it is the three lever version never needed any additional drivers. You only need them if you want to assign keys to the Yoke.Check the sensitivities first. In some cases I remember the sensitivities were set to zero by the installation.Alex

John you must be having some problems with your usb connecion i have the same one and it works fine no drivers needed

Well I am not the chief critic here. And usually any help is appreciated. But if I want to help I read the problem first. These drivers are for the gameport version. It has no use to install them. Drivers for the Yoke and XP are only needed if you want to assign keystrokes anyway. And insted of copying CHproduct's EULA agreement a simple URL would have been sufficent.Alex

JohnI have exactly the same set up (USB CH Flight Sim Yoke LE single throttle lever) running in Windows XP and have no problems.Here's a couple of thoughts:1. Does Windows report the yoke as 'working OK'? If so, try calibrating it and see if it springs to life. If not, disconnect it completely, reboot your computer, then plug the yoke in again, possibly in a different USB port if you have one available. Then calibrate again. (It's most unlikely that more than one USB port may be defective.)2. If FS2002 is recognising the yoke too, check that you have enabled Joystick Control in your Controls settings page in FS. (Sounds obvious I know, but an easy mistake to make.)Hope that helps.Toni.
