Flap axis?

Recommended Posts

Guest

I am new to cockpit building, first I have managed to suceed with multi monitor set ups, also have emulated a keyboard and can now use switches instead of my keyboard all be it basic, {I'm working on FSbus}.My problem is with my throttle quadrant, I have got two throttles working great, only I am looking for help with a flap lever, I have read about doing this with either a pot, or multi position rotary switch, I prefer to do this with a pot, but I cannot seem to add a flap axis to my joystick settings in FS2002, it seems you can add many different axis for other things but not flaps!I have an up to date version of FSUIPC, here I see Peter Dowson has a flap calibration area, only can anyone tell me if it is possible, and if so where I am going wrong?steve@dobney1.freeserve.co.ukRegards Steve

Hi Steve,If you check the fsuipc for advanced users doc, on page 21 and 22 it talks about the way to setup a different axis for a flaps lever. Take a look at it, you should be able to figure it out.
