Help with CH Rudder and Yoke Design

Hi Folks,I have a dilemna. My desk at home is angled, so I have a tough time flying at an angle. I can put it straight, but I still have to use sticky tac on the bottom of the yoke to keep it on. The edge of the desk makes it slide.I have the following:(And yes, I know that somewhere down the road, I will have to add more. :-) It's addicting right?)CH Pro Rudder pedalsCH Pro FlightSim YokeI just want to design using the following.1)Rudder pedal Box, no bottom, or maybe a bottom for weight.2) 2 x 4 brace attaches to box flat on ground.3) 2 x 4 angled column attaches to brace4) 1" Particle Board or plywood attaches to 2 x 4 5) Yoke attaches to board.I am attaching a pic of my current setup as well as my cheesy design. Unless you can lead me down a different more simple design, this should work. Any Help is appreciated, as I would like to ask the experts before I run to Home Depot. :-)My main concern is this:Do I need to weigh down the pedal box in case I pull on the Yoke and the box comes up too. Joe,My main concern would be the stability of the yoke "column". the construction of it, and especially the connection tot the floor part should be very rigid, otherwis you'll end up moving the column instead of the yoke.I've seen pictures of a yoke column made of ca piece of scaffolding (round, aluminium or so). As far as the "counterweight" goes I have no experience right now. I'll guess you will need indeed some extra weighing (though not much?).Kind regards,Stephan Haas

I know this may sound obvious, but couldn't you just move your stuff around on the desk so that you can clamp your yoke to a straight edge?Keith....Wherever you go, there you are...
