I have the original Thrustmaster RCS pedals so I'm not sure how the news ones compare. But on mine, there are several nylon washers with a viscous lubricant on them (much like Vaseline; maybe it is). If the pivot points are bolted, you might also try loosening the nut a bit.Peter http://bfu.avsim.net/sigpics/PeterR.gifBFU Forums ModeratorRenegade/Seawolf Design Group (RSDG)

http://bfu.avsim.net/sigpics/logo75t.gifBush Flying Unlimited"At home in the wild"Looking for adventure? Thank you I will try with vaseline or a lubricant near the pivoting point.

May I suggest that one not use Vaseline or any other petroleum based lubricant on their pedals? Petroleum jellies are not always very kind to rubber or plastic based materials (Which is why they say never to use Vaseline in conjunction with condoms :-)~ )Use KY or some other water based lubricant instead, so as to be sure not to soften the plastic tracks that the pedals ride on.Richard

A silicone lubricant would probably be best for long-lasting lubrication. Alternatively, you could try a graphite lubricant like DriSlide though it's primarily for cables.Peter http://bfu.avsim.net/sigpics/PeterR.gifBFU Forums ModeratorRenegade/Seawolf Design Group (RSDG)
