Rotary switch

OK guys: I have built my rotary switch using a single pole, 12 position rotary switch. My problem is.....it doesn't work! I have bridged every third contact, giving me 4 wires at the end plus common. Does the controller have to be configured to any special CID? Does anyone have a better picture of how the 5 wires now attach to the keys controller boardl? Why was this board configured so that one can not get the female connector onto the Keys pins? the spacing is too close to use a socket on the ribbon cable. HELP! HELP! HELP!

Mondo here again: I have gotten the rotary to work. Now I need to know how to get it to change the radios in FS9. I can change from active to standby via a momentary switch and it shows up in FS9, but the freq. changes made on FSBUS do not show on the radio stack in FS9. Any ideas?

There is a COM and NAV radio examples on the example configuration. Also note that you need to set the step correctly, which is 250 for the fraction part of the frequency and 1000 for the whole MHz if I remember correctly. I dont have my config right here now though, but try different multiply values.//Tuomas

Thanks for your reply: I am using version 2.0.8 of the software which does not allow for the changing of the values you are speaking of.(or at least, I do not think it does). All of the routing seems to be done in the software. WAIT! Here comes a new version of the program.............DOWNLOADING!!! Let us see what it does.
