*SAVE ALL DATA ON THE NEW HD THAT CANNOT BE REPLACED ONTO THE OLD HARDDRIVE, THIS WILL ERASE ALL DATA ON YOUR NEW DRIVE*Do you know how to reinstall drives? If you do, try switching your master to the slave and the slave to the master. If not, just change the drive letters from C to D and D to C. As windows boots, hold down CTRL. At the prompt, type 5 and hit enter. Then type FORMAT D:. That will erase all data on it. Next, be sure you have Windows installed on C:. (If not, insert your Windows CD, and hit CTRL+ALT+DEL. As the BIOS comes up, thre should be a thing that says push * to enter setup. Push * where * is the specified key. Then use the arrow keys and Page Up and Page Down to select and manipulate through, and hit enter, looking for something saying Boot Sequence. When you find it, use Page Up and Page Down to change it so it looks something like this: CDROM,C,D. Then save and exit (usually F10 or just snoop around to find the key, use ESC to go to the previous screen). As the computer boots, the Windows setup utility should come up. Install it on drive C: (the old one). When it is finished and all set up, restart your computer.) Then reinstall FS on your old hd, and try it out.If it isn't broke, don't fix it.
