Is this too much of a flare?

Here's the shot. Northwest A320 landing 27L AT PHL. Just wondering if I went a little over board on my flare for the touchdown...

looks normal to me...The only time when you can flare too long is if the runway is short...then you do a controlled crash on the runway without much of a flare and you stop so that the passengers get whip-lash! :DTake careMike

Looks fine to me. When I am landing a heavy, I usually try to pitch the nose up about 5 to 6 degrees on touchdown.Rob

However, in the picture, the plane looks about 9 degrees pitched.My guess, a little too high.Brent

I see A320s all day on app into KDCA. Average approach angle is 2-3 deg, landing flare about 4 to 6. The A320 pitches up more than a 727 and a LOT more than a 737 on flare and TD.JS
