Rumors; FS10 (FS2006) run on XBOX-360 ONLY!

Featured Replies

Sure!...If MS would like to loose... say... about 1m clients of FS!!!I certainly not going to go buy another console (I already have the XBox) just to run FS. I'll stick with FS2004 as far as I'm concerned. And to stay on topic... I wonder... What kind of hardware will work with XBOX-360 ? All the home cockpit hardware are based on PC architecture. Are they going to provide Serial ports, USBs, Parallel ports etc on the new Xbox? I don't think so...George DorkofikisAthens, Greecehttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/811520/1704.pnghttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/betaimg.jpg

IF true, which I don't think will happen. It will be a fantastic opportunity for X-Plane.As I mentioned in an other Forum, about this topic. Strategical, for MS, this is a good plan. Regarding a XBox ONLY version, a bad plan, there are lots of hard core MSFS users, which use a technology that can not be duplicated with XBOX. BIG LOSS. Unless XBOX turns into a PC type structure, then why have XBOX?Just my OPINION:)

RUMOR is like a hidden evil beast. No, let me say this again.Rumor IS a hidden evil beast. It never deserve for good.Everybody know that, right ?I hate rumors.commafroggy eater'n'flyerPS : I heard MS is going to stop producing Windows...But.. hey, keep that info for you...

LOL! :-lol George... that was good one! Even if it true... Would such FS addons like PM, LevelD, FSUIPC and/or etc. starting to worry about their marketing? I doubt M$ would ever consider getting FS to run on XBox version only, but I do believe M$ will produce optional version of FS that can run on PC or XBox. that is how they can make more money out of it. Rumors is always around, this is what keep our community alive.

My impression is that the profit margins on the game boxes themselves(Xbox, PS2, whatever) are essentially non existent, so I would doubt there'd be much in it for MS to get us to by xbox360's. The profit is in the software sales. How much additional 360 software / games would a hard core Simmer buy? My guess is not much. So it seams to me that for sales of FS to go up (and isn't it already MS's best seller, atlease volume wise?), they'd offer it on both platforms. Game boxes are about software franchises, and let's face it, MSFS is a big franchise they could uniquely offer on the 360. The only way to make an XBox360 only business model to work (IMHO), and not loose a significant portion of the PC users to XPlane, etc, would be for it to significantly blow away what can be done on a PC, performance and "eye-candy" wise. But I expect that it won't matter - either way we'll be parting with hardware money - the latest and greatest PC graphics cards or an XBox 360. It will be bucks either way!

I can't even start to understand how on earth MS could possibily conceive each of the hundreds of commands on a game-pad?

>LOL! :-lol George... that was good one! Even if it true...>Would such FS addons like PM, LevelD, FSUIPC and/or etc.>starting to worry about their marketing? I sincerely would like to see PMDG sold to some million users and then see their almost non-existent support forum go to heavens :-roll

Let me e-mail Bill and ask him!! i don

Today I got an email form MS about the Fs2004 survey.I think they won't go through that amount of work when they are about to change platforms.
