why such animosity towards wilco?

Why, may I ask, are people so hostile towards WILCO's new products? I've bought their 737 for FLY and it has got to be one of the best addons for FLY perhaps even any flightsim ever. Their Airport2000 hit the frames hard but I got some nice aircraft and panels to play with including some excellent adventures. Have I missed something important?

Agreed. People criticize so much, they don't realize they're bashing other's work. Even if it's payware.Cheers,http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3d68c1fb7d97da8c.jpgAA RULES!!! :)Download my semi-photoreal AA 757!:http://ftp.avsim.com/library/sendfile.php?DownloadID=16882Aerolineas Argentinas A330-200 NOW AVAILABLE!!http://www.thevivcorp.com/~fyarepaints/MyR.../posky332ar.zipChrome AA 767 NOW AVAILABLE!!http://www.thevivcorp.com/~fyarepaints/MyR...osky767aaV1.zipDominicana de Aviacion 727-53C NOW AVAILABLE!!http://www.thevivcorp.com/~fyarepaints/MyRepaints/dom722.zip______________________________"Whenever you find yourself in the side of the majority it's time to pause and reflect" - Mark Twain

The sad part about it is that most of the people that bash them dont have anywhere near the skills to do the work that they are bashing. I would say, if you cant produce better, then dont bash what is being produced.Chris

Hmmm .. perhaps this title should be closer to the truth: "why some people don't share MY enthusiasm for the A320PIC screnshots ?". :(This is forum and opinions are rampant, some not necessarily agree with yours. :-eekAnd .. the last I checked 767PIC was published by Wilco - one of the best add-on ever.Michael J.

>And .. the last I checked 767PIC was published by Wilco - one of the best add-on ever.Well, kind of. Yes, it's true that they published the software, but they did NOT design the panel. That was done by a separate team that Wilco hired (that by the way has not touched the A320PIC). Oh, but Wilco did design one thing on the PIC767. The exterior model. And guess what? That's the only thing people complain about the PIC767. Good thing we've got great groups like POSKY to fix that problem. :-)Ryan-Flightpro08 :-coolVATSIM Pilot/ControllerZLA ARTCC Controller 1 (C-1)SAN TRACON Lead [link:www.taxiwaysigns.com]Taxiwaysigns.com Scenery Designer-----------------------------My "Home Made" System Specs:Intel Pentium 4 2.2GHz ProcessorTurbo Gamer ATX Mid-Tower with 420W Power SupplyEPoX 4G4A Motherboard with Intel 845G ChipsetVisiontek XTASY GeForce4 128MB Ti4600 (Det 30.30 Drivers)512MB PC2100 DDR RAM40GB Matrox 7200RPM Hard DriveWindows XP Home Edition*No CPU or GPU Overclocking*3dMark2001SE Score: 10346

I don't think its as much animosity towards Wilco as payware in general. It seems like most people seem to have closed their eyes to the wonders that payware achieve simply because they need to pay for it. I'm pretty sure theres a hefty amount of people under the age of 18 (including myself) who can't actually have a credit card, and quite a few (fortunately, not including myself) may not be able to get their parents to let them use a credit card on the web. This could easily result in the majority of them having some harsh feelings towards payware, simply because they can't have it, so it should be free. Either way, I think people need to lighten up on payware, and Wilco, and take things a little easier.Scott
