Recommended Posts

In my Players section of the Disk Detector it lists the following for either drive:Audio CD - Creative Play CenterVideo CD - Creative Play CenterCD-i - BlankEnhanced CD - BlankDVD Disk - Default Should I try setting them all to default? By the way what is CD-i and an Enhanced CD? I have the Audigy Gamer. Thanks, regards, Bob.

The Aspi32.sys was the real problem child on my system - but that and wnaspi32.dll must be updated together if an update is made or you'll get the blue screen of death. If you have 4.6 - I would say this is probably not your problem, especially since you don't have the aspi32.sys.

Just thought of another possible solution. Do you have disk restore enabled on your WinME? If so, WinME probably has an image of a state before you updated your SB Live drivers. If that is the case - WinME is really easy to roll back to previous images. Go to start, accessories, system tools and system restore and you can select a previous date and time that WinME imaged your system. You can then select that restore point and if the SB live driver was your problem - voila, you are back to the previous configuration. System restore saved my butt so many times in WinME. I haven't needed it in WinXP. If you get the urge to blow $100 bucks - WinXP will fix your problems :).
