Guest Andrew

Am I doing something wrong? , when I run 3D MARK 2001 SE (Unregisterd) on my new GEFORCE4 ti4200 (Creative) with all the default settings (1200x1000x16bit) ,all I get is a score of around 7500 Surely this should be higher on my system as you guys are talking about 13000 to 14000 marks in a post below mine .What am I doing wrong and what would be normal for a system like mine?System is aAthlon 1.4ghz 512mbs DDR ram (PC2100) 2x256ASUS A7v266 mainboardCreative Extigy Sound blaster,(NEW) (External USB sound card)Creative GEFORCE4 Ti4200 overclocked to 280 GPU and 580 Memory on 40.41 drivers. Thank you all.Andrew Simmons UK

Make sure you're running 3DMark2001SE at 1028X768X32 and that you have AA and VSYNC off. I used to get around 7600 with my old P4 1.3GHz, so you're actually about right. (If anybody says they're getting 13000+ 3DMarks with a 1.4GHz computer, then they're blowing smoke out their a$$.)Ryan-Flightpro08 :-coolVATSIM Pilot/ControllerZLA ARTCC Controller 1 (C-1)SAN TRACON Lead [link:www.taxiwaysigns.com]Taxiwaysigns.com Scenery Designer-----------------------------My "Home Made" System Specs:Intel Pentium 4 2.2GHz ProcessorTurbo Gamer ATX Mid-Tower with 420W Power SupplyEPoX 4G4A Motherboard with Intel 845G ChipsetVisiontek XTASY GeForce4 128MB Ti4600 (Det 40.41 Drivers)512MB PC2100 DDR RAM40GB Matrox 7200RPM Hard DriveWindows XP Home Edition*No CPU or GPU Overclocking*3dMark2001SE Score: 11298
