Can anyone advise how I can make the "shift-enter" adjustments in the VC permanent? Thanks for any input.

Adjust the {VIEWS} section in the aircraft.cfg. I'm pretty sure that positive numbers are forward, right, and up -- negative numbers are the opposite. Each 0.1 adjustment is about equal to two clicks of (shift/ctrl)+(enter/backspace)Example:(Views)eyepoint= -3.95, -0.85, 2.1 //(feet) longitudinal, lateral, vertical distance from reference datumAdjusted for one click forward and two clicks up:(Views)eyepoint= -3.90, -0.85, 2.2 //(feet) longitudinal, lateral, vertical distance from reference datum

Thanks for the response, but I have played around with those variables and have found that they merely move the panel up/down, in/out, left/right, changing the outside perspective. It doesn't really mimick the ctrl/enter key combo, which is more akin to tilting your head down a notch, (as in panning down.) I will continue to search the forums and experiment, but thanks again for the response.

You are speaking of the virtual cockpit, correct? adjusting the {views} section of the aircraft.cfg will set the default eyepoint. Unless you've changed your key assignments, that's exactly what ctrl+enter. etc. will do. If you press and hold ctrl+enter (or another combination) and bring it to its limits of movement, you will see that it moves your eyepoint, not pans. With the 2D panel, adjusting the eyepoint will affect your perspective as well, just like adjusting your seat in a car. Also in the 2D panel, ctrl+enter will "tilt your head", and this can be adjusted in the {views} section of the panel.cfg.
