FMC?

Hello i need help with this program i have the PSS Airbus now i want to know what is the FMC is it a program that i put the flight plans in and how does it work does it show me the routes or what i need help with this can someone please help me understand on this FMC a little better?

Jay, that's a big question you've asked. Your best bet would be to read through the documentation that comes with the Airbus, and try it out on your own. The tutorial flight will walk you through setting up a flight plan in the FMC, and configuring the autopilot to fly it. Once you've done that, you can try to set up your own flightplan between airports of your choice. If, after you've gone over the documentation and tried the tutorial flight, you still have problems, go ahead and post more specific questions about the FMC operation. jay,that's indeed a very very big question.Remember the FMC is not a stand-alone instrument,it takes care of the whole automation in your plane.You'll use it in combination with the FCU.I hope you have an advanced knowledge of airliner flying,because it's not the same as a car :)
