Upgrade Patch for the Grumman Duck

I have noticed that ther have been over 1800 downloads of the Grumman Duck since it's release but only 800 of the patches.Even if your download worked fine (there were problems for FFB users) this upgrade has new air and cfg files that greatly inproves the flight dynamics.Get it at:http://ftp.avsim.com/library/esearch.php?D...ther&CatID=RootJust thought I'd bring it up in case some of you were unaware of it.Cheers!Heather

I think that's about par for the course, Heather. Our recent Red Arrows full package upload has just hit the 3,000 mark (in Avsim) but the upgrade pack (albeit not actually a fix) is at just under 1,500 downloads.A lot of people download the initial upload for a look but then we get lost on their hard drive, I think! Patches never match downloads Heather. Some folks download something, try it, ditch it. They don't care about the patch. Some folks find it just drifting thru sites. There are all sorts of reasons, but they will never match. Some people like the way it is/was. Why patch it. Not everyone is a fanatic like you or I! LOL! Look at that great Falcon that came out. There was a patch. Those ##'s don't match. Just the way it is.Don

Okie Dokie!Thanks guys. I couldn't remember if I had posted a notice when I uploaded the patch and just wanted to be sure those who had the plane knew about it.Just finished the Mallard BFU reflective textures but now have to figure out how to make "night" textures; otherwise this thing lights up like it's in somebody's searchlights.Back to the drawing board.Cheers!Heather
