Horizon/Visibility problem

Recommended Posts

Guest

I have a problem with the display. I am always having the horizon blocked by an extension of the blue sky, as if visibility were reduced even if I set unlimited visibility in weather settings. I tried tweaking the videocard disabling the Fog option in Direct3D, etc, etc and different drivers for the videocard but without success. Can anyone tell me how to solve this?I'm attaching a screenshot to show this issueThanks.MY SYSTEM:Dell Dimension 8200P4 2.53GHz2Gb PC800 RDRAMNvidia GeForce4 Ti4600 wTVout/DVILatest Detonator Nvidia driver installed (40.41)2 HD 120Gb eachIntel NICSantacruz Audio CardAltec Lansing ADA990Windows XP Pro preinstalledMY SYSTEM:DELL DIMENSION 8200P4 2.53GHz2Gb PC800 RDRAMNvidia GeForce Ti4600 128MB w/TVOut/DVISantacruz Audio CardAltec Lansing ADA990 Speakers/SubwooferTwo 120Gb WD HDDVD+RW Philips UnitLucent Half Duplex ModemIntel NICViewsonic VP230mb LCD Panel at 1600x1200,60Hz nativeDell USB Performance KeyboardLogitech Wireless IR MouseWindows XP Pro preinstalledAll drivers/software regularly updated

This might be a quirk of FS2002 when you try to set unlimited visibility. I always set a reduced level, as I think it is more realistic, so the best I ever get is 60km, as set within FSUIPC. Normally this is much lower due to cloud.
