This is a list of all our current staff vacancies as of January 2005:Vacancy: OperationsFlight Operations Department: We have vacancies for two managers in the flight operations department.Fleet Operations: We require a fleet manager. (You must have some experience or knowledge of aircraft in order to hold this post).Vacancy: Download CenterScenery Builder: We need a scenery builder to help us with our Download Center and of course to build sceneries!Vacancy: Flight SchoolFlight Instructor: (Teaches basics of flight, aerodynamics etc all based on our courses available in our Training Department http://www.airarabiava.com/training).Online Flying Instructor: (How to fly online, online training and testing. Basically a flight instructor that instructs ONLINE - Therefore they are able to interact with the students).Vacancy: ManagementOnline Operations: Our current head of online operations is Faraaz De Belder, however the online division is a large department and we need more staff for it.Human Resources Manager: Handles administration, membership & Pilot Services.Director of Communications: Handles Forum & Public Relation enquiries (a demanding job!)I.T Specialist: Handles enquiries from both staff and members and provides technical support.Public Relations: Our PR department is well established already, however we have opportunities for additional staff!Job Descriptions1) Online Operations Manager: This position allows you to work alongside Faraaz and you will BOTH manage the online operations department. This is good because it allows you both to create different schedules/flights for our online flying division! (Faraaz is also our head of ATC and therefore he normally co-ordinates all the ATC operations for our online flights). As the online opererations director, you may be called upon to co-ordinate events with other airlines and organisations.2) Online FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR: This job is similar to that of our Airbus Fleet Instructor. You will have a place as an instructor in our Training Department/Site and will teach users how to fly online and answer question and queries related to online flying. You may also train them in general aircraft operation and airline procedures but ONLINE (hence the title ONLINE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR!).3) Our vacancy for Flight Operations is one of our most sought after jobs. Flight Operations managment basically means that you will head the flight operations department. managing this department means that you are responsible for Notifying members of new flights (done through the forums or on the flight operations page), informing members of Code Shares etc and just uploading small ammounts of information. Flight Operations also has the freedom to create and manage additional flights not specified on the schedules.4) I.T specialists are highly sought after and we need help in running and managing the site as well as implementing new services and features to our site!
