United States Virtual Air Corps Headquarters Washington, D.C. www.usvac.orgPress Release 05-15 1 July 2005***FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE***Subject: Public Information Officer SelectedIn order to better facilitate the free flow of information regarding current and future events and activities, the United States Virtual Air Corps has created two new positions on it's Headquarters Staff. The new positions are Public Information Officer, which is fielded by a Brigadier General, and Assistant Public Information Officer, a Colonel. BG David Farmer assumed his duties as PIO on 1 July 2004 and named Col. Billy Hitefield to be his assistant the same day. Both of these airmen have outstanding service records and their contributions to the organization have left positive impacts on their preceeding units.
