April 12, 200620 yr Operations begin April 15Bluefin Air Charters is the brain child of two USAF veterans who wanted to provide a virtual airline that was different from all other VAs. BFA's vision is to provide a fun and exciting environment for the virtual pilot. The Caribbean islands are BFA's work area, and our fleet is all props, and based out of Miami International Airport. Our fleet consists the Beech 1900, Aerostar 700, Lockheed L188, Swearingen Metro III, Cessna Titan 404 and the Shorts 360. We want to keep our fleet small and easily maintainable. BFA will utilize FSACARS, which will automatically update a pilots flying hours, also providing management with aircraft hours, and pilot stats. We will not require online flying, that will be left up to the pilots discretion. Our inhouse developed dispatch program will allow pilots to create their own flights, and will auto generate flight numbers and provide basic airport information. Routes are left up to the imagination of the BFA pilot, instead of having canned routes, we leave the route creation up to the discetion of the pilot, using the list of available airports through out the Caribbean. This way the pilot can fly what and when they want at their leisure. No bidding or fighting for a route, plan it, fly it!Our requirements are very simple, if you decide to join BFA we ask that you fly at least one a month. BFA isn't into how many hours a virtual pilot has flown or how many aircraft they have flown. First time flyers to the seasoned VA pilots are all welcome. BFA was developed with having fun in mind, and providing the virtual pilot a chance to create their own flights that suits their needs. We look forward to a fun and exciting time, and want to provide future virtual pilots with a place they can call home, and recommend to their friends. If you are interested in joining Bluefin Air visit us at:www.bluefinaircharters.org.Bluefin Air Charters is a virtual airline, and in no way associated with any entity of the same name.
