American Virtual Airlines Celebrates its 5th Birthday!

Featured Replies

Congratulations to the pilots and staff, past and present, of American Virtual Airlines as we celebrate our 5th Birthday in July!!! We are having a huge flyin to our DFW headquarters on July 8th to celebrate this occasion. Over the past several months we have been working on a brand new main website. It was released this morning. This is just another example of AvA improving the quality of our services to our pilots. As you look around the new site, you will notice improved compatibility with a variety of web browsers, and more features (Aircraft Locator using real world SELCAL codes from EGF and AAL aircraft) and eye-candy (new banners) compared with previous sites. We are very proud of the new site and the fact that after 5 years in operations, AvA has never been stronger! We now have over 450 pilots on our rosters flying out of 8 US-based hubs. AvA was the first VA to be affiliated with VATSIM and we remain a 100% VATSIM-only VA. If you are a flight simulator enthusiast who wants to take your flying to the next level, please take a look around our site. You will find that American Virtual Airlines is a Virtual Airline that is highly professional, extremely progressive, and whose members totally enjoy the hobby and each other. I invite you to become part of a great group of flight simmers who are proud to be AMERICAN! Regards, Gary Price AAL600 Chief Executive Officer American Virtual Airlines www.joinava.org
